The Hard Quiz Book of the World’s Hardest Arses

I’m still trying to work out what my expert subject would be. In the meantime I got to work on this irreverent, quirky book. Who wouldn’t want to work on a project with this title? The Hard Arses are an unexpected bunch. From the Great White Shark to Queen Elizabeth 1 – with Dolly Parton and the 1868 Aboriginal Cricket Team in between. The challenge/opportunity was using two colour internals which I hadn’t done before in this format but really wanted to explore. Working once again with talented Pilar Costabal bringing her humour to the illustrations for Publisher Jude McGee.

Absurd and fun. I even got to meet a local winner so I could borrow her BIG BRASS MUG for a photoshoot.
