Back in 1999 I danced in the rain to Yothu Yindi performing at Glastonbury, so we have history. More recently, just two days before our family holiday to Darwin/Nitmiluk Gorge/Jabiru, Covid-19 lockdown struck, thwarting our adventure plans. The upside was it meant I was available to work on Matt’s authorised biography of this revolutionary band. As an added bonus, I was introduced to the work of Dhambit Munuŋgurr, whose bark painting appears in the book’s endpapers.
