I’m a graphic designer based in Sydney.

My work is driven by typography, a love for colour and an eye for layout.

I combine my creativity with an understanding of audiences, and I’m committed to keep on learning.

I value strong working relationships and love using my skills and experience for all things good.

My bio, of sorts.

While doing my Bachelor of Industrial Design at the University of Canberra, I realised I wanted to be a Graphic Designer. I finished up the degree and, thanks to a year of waitressing and working at Sportsgirl, saved so I could explore the world.

Once most of the money had ran out, I had the opportunity to begin my career as Junior Graphic Designer at Bain Design, in Dubai – Australia was in recession at the time and one of my adventurous sisters was living in Dubai and let me crash for a bit. I’ll be forever grateful for this start. I then spent three years at Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai, working on multinational and local brands with several bilingual projects.

After relocating to Sydney, I worked with old-school typographers at The Campaign Palace, where I honed my type skills and learned the power of a good headline. A desire to work in a cultural institution and a love of exhibition graphics led to a year at The National Maritime Museum, before an offer came to move to London. I worked with a talented team at O2 Design and where I was able to develop my conceptual skills.

Back in Sydney, I joined old friends at Holy Cow! and we shared eight creative years together, culminating in a stint as Creative Director.

Big life changes – and a desire to go to cafés during work hours – led to me working for myself from 2008, thinking it might last for a year if I was lucky… I’m delighted to still be here, taking on jobs I feel passionate about and getting a kick out of bringing client concepts to life.

I’m in Sydney but work with people based in varied locations, including the Blue Mountains, Moruya, Mornington Peninsula, New Zealand and Ireland.

A little word of thanks to my talented design mentors / buddies / collaborators, Emma Gray and Lee Nicol – they always have great ideas, help me cull and help get my brain cogs moving when I get stuck. And to my business mentor, Monica Davidson from Creative Plus Business – if only I did everything she suggests I do!

I acknowledge the Gadigal and Wangal people as the original custodians of the land upon which I live and work. I pay my respects to elders past, present and emerging.
